Terms of Service — Opportunity Graph

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account or otherwise using Opportunity Graph (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service Does

Opportunity Graph helps students discover educational opportunities — scholarships, hackathons, olympiads, internships, summer programs, fellowships, and similar programs — and ranks them against a profile you create. Recommendations are generated by an automated scoring system based on the interests, grade level, languages, and goals you provide. They are suggestions only. They are not an endorsement, a guarantee of eligibility, or a guarantee of admission/acceptance into any listed opportunity.

3. Eligibility and Age Requirements

  • You must be 13 years of age or older to create an account.
  • If you are between 13 and the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction (typically 18), you confirm that a parent or legal guardian is aware of and consents to your use of the Service.
  • If you are under 13, please do not create an account or submit any personal information to Opportunity Graph.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle this, including deletion requests.

4. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away at macqro888@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

You may delete your account at any time from the "Delete account" section of your Profile page. This permanently removes your profile, saved interactions, and other account data, and cannot be undone.

5. Your Profile Information

You control what you add to your profile (grade level, interests, languages, goals, GPA). You represent that this information is accurate. We use it only to generate and explain your recommendations, as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Opportunity Listings — No Warranty

Listings come from third-party sources and are, in part, extracted using automated/AI tools before a human review step. We do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, complete, current, or error-free — including deadlines, eligibility criteria, and application links.

Always verify deadlines, eligibility, and application requirements directly with the opportunity's official organizer before relying on them. We are not responsible for missed deadlines, rejected applications, or other consequences of relying on listing information.

7. Third-Party Links

The Service links to third-party websites (e.g., official application pages) that we do not control and are not responsible for.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • misrepresent your identity or age;
  • harass, defraud, or attempt to harm other users;
  • access accounts or data that aren't yours;
  • scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service;
  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Service or other users.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
